Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service has announced its winners for the MORE awards for 2010. The ceremony, hosted at The Moat House Hotel at Festival Park, Stoke-on-Trent was held to recognise and celebrate the teams and individuals who contribute to a safer Staffordshire.

At the ceremony Chief Fire Officer/Chief Executive, Peter Dartford detailed why the finalists had been nominated before Vice Chairman of Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority, Cllr Barry Mycock announced the winners. The winners all received a certificate and a glass star shaped trophy. All runners up received a certificate.

The winners of the night were as follows:

Sian Murrie (former Student Firefighter at Rugeley Fire Station)

COMMUNICATOR OF THE YEAR
Ian Pullen - Watch Manager, Burton Fire Station

Gary Dumighan – Leek Firefighter
