Road Traffic Collision in Great Haywood

Firefighters from Stafford were called to a road traffic collision on the A51 between Hixon and Great Haywood earlier this morning.

Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to extricate one casualty who was trapped inside the car by injuries. The casualty was then transported to hospital by air ambulance.

 

The call was received at 7.45am reporting a road traffic collision involving four vehicles.

A further three casualties were taken to hospital by land ambulance.  Firefighters left the scene at 8.44am.
