Firefighters have cut free three casualties trapped in a car following a collision on the M6 this afternoon.

The emergency call for the incident, which was between junctions 11 and 12 on the M6 Northbound, was received at 1.43pm. Four crews from Cannock, Penkridge and Stafford attended the incident which involved a collision between three cars and a car transporter.
Assistant Area Commander for Cannock, Ian Broadhead said: "Firefighters used cutting equipment to release a female adult and two female children from one of the vehicles. They were taken to Stafford General Hospital by land ambulance."
Crews left the incident at 2.30pm.
