The automatic fire alarm was raised from George Hill Court, Fancy Walk in Stafford at 9.05am.  Rising Brook’s Orange Watch were assigned to the incident at 9.06am and left the station at 9.10am to attend.

They arrived at the address at 9.17am however it turned out to be a false alarm. The crew assisted a Stafford crew, who were also in attendance, with checking there was no sign of a fire.

Rising Brook Watch Manager, Chris Hughes said: "This was a momentous occasion for the crew at Rising Brook as it was our first call out. Although it perhaps wasn’t the most memorable incident, it was still exciting for the crew and gave us the opportunity to respond for the first time as the Rising Brook crew."

The incident was closed at 9.24am and the crews returned to their stations.
