Road Traffic Collision in Weston Coyney

Fire and rescue crews from Longton and Cheadle have attended a road traffic collision this morning on the A520 in Weston Coyney.

”Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof from one of the cars to free the casualty. He was then taken to hospital by land ambulance.”  

The call was received at 7.20am reporting the incident involving two vehicles that had collided at a junction in front of Moorville Hall on the A520 in Weston Coyney.

Station Manager Ian Broadhead said:"Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to remove the roof from one of the cars to free the casualty. He was then taken to hospital by land ambulance.”

The incident was closed at 8.22am.
