Cannock Community Fun Day!

Cannock Community Fire Station will be holding a free Community Fun Day this Saturday from 11am – 4pm.

"We are hosting this free fun day to celebrate the opening of the new community fire station to the public. It’s set to be an action packed day of entertainment and activities for all the family."

During the day, members of the local community will have the chance to meet their local firefighters, Service mascots - Welephant and Blaze Bear, try out Zumba, witness live fire service demonstrations and climb aboard a fire engine, as well as many other fun activities. As well as the fire and rescue service representatives from the County Air Ambulance, Cannock Chase District Council, Staffordshire Police and Butts Motorcycles will be at the event.

Cannock Assistant Area Commander, Carl Mason said: "We are hosting this free fun day to celebrate the opening of the new community fire station to the public. It’s set to be an action packed day of entertainment and activities for all the family.

"This event is a great opportunity for us to give the public a real insight into the fire service and for them to see all the different kinds of work we and our partners are involved in. It’s also allows us to raise awareness about the importance of fire safety in a fun and informal atmosphere."

Parking is available onsite for blue badge holders only; however free parking will be available on the day at the nearby Cannock Chase High School.
