Long Service and Good Conduct Awards


Fire and Rescue Service personnel from across the County will be awarded for their long service and good conduct at a presentation ceremony on Wednesday evening.

The medals and certificates will be presented at an awards evening held at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters. The medals will be presented by The Lord Lieutenant, Sir James Hawley and the certificates will be presented by The Chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Cllr Len Bloomer.

The Long Service Award is presented to members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years continuous service, and the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to members of the Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years operational service and have demonstrated, during this period their good conduct, loyalty and devotion to duty.

The recipients from across the County who will be awarded with the medal and certificate are as follows –

Crew Manager Gary Bowcock from Longton Fire Station
Crew Manager Stephen Emery from Ipstones and Hanley Fire Station
Station Manager Pete Jones from East Staffs Area Command
Firefighter Ethan Shenton from Longton Fire Station
Watch Manager Jeremy Skeels from Longton Fire Station

The following recipients received the certificate only -
Mrs Sandra Bickerton from Hanley Fire Station.
Mrs Pam Dodd from Lichfield Fire Station.
Mr Dave Fletcher from Workshops.
Mr Jeff Moore from Service Headquarters.
