Biddulph Community Fire Station will be throwing opening its doors to the local community from 24th November and inviting people to come in for a chat and a cuppa.
"If any members of our local community want to come along to see the station, meet the crew or even just to have a chat and a cup of tea then feel free to come along to either of the drop-in sessions."
Biddulph Station Manager, Phil Smith
The drop-in sessions will run on November 24th 3pm-5pm and November 26th 11am-1pm. Members of the local community are invited to pop into the station, meet the crew and have a tour of the newly refurbished station.
The station has undergone a transformation in the past year, with two extensions added to both sides of the station. The extensions have allowed a community room and additional changing facilities to be incorporated into the station.
Biddulph Station Manager, Phil Smith said: "If any members of our local community want to come along to see the station, meet the crew or even just to have a chat and a cup of tea then feel free to come along to either of the drop-in sessions.
"This is a great opportunity for us to give the public a real insight into the Fire Service and for them to see all the different kinds of work we are involved in. It’s also a great way for us to raise awareness about the importance of fire safety in a fun and informal atmosphere."
Parking is only available for blue badge holders onsite.
