Gnosall Fire Station Holding Community Consultation Event

22/11/2011

Gnosall Community Fire Station will be holding a community consultation event on 28th November and inviting local members of the community to come along to give their thoughts on the community facilities.

"The event is so that members of the local community can come and have a look at the space on offer to them and let us know what they’d like to use the facilities for."

Gnosall Station Manager, Paul Richins

The event will run from 2pm-4pm and then 6pm-8pm on November 28th and local people are invited to submit ideas for what they would like to see in the community rooms and tell the Fire Service what they would use the facilities for.

Gnosall Station Manager, Paul Richins said: "The event is so that members of the local community can come and have a look at the space on offer to them and let us know what they’d like to use the facilities for.

"We’d also invite anyone who may wish to book the community facilities when the station revamp is complete to pop along and let us know what they would like to see in the station.

"Fire safety literature will be available to take away on the day and anyone who wants to book a free Home Fire Risk Check will be able to do that also. The station will have an official opening and community drop-in day early next year to showcase the finished refurbishment."

Parking is only available for blue badge holders onsite.
