Watch Manager John Berrisford will be setting off for a 320k Cycle Challenge from London to Paris this Thursday following many hours of training and fund raising.
John will be leaving London this Thursday morning and hopes to arrive in Paris on Saturday. He has been training for the challenge since last year, however in March this year whilst out road training he suffered a nasty head on collision leaving him with severe head injuries and broken ribs. Although this prevented John from training for five weeks he soon regained his confidence and was back in the saddle preparing for the event. Watch Manager, John Berrisford commented: “I have been a keen cyclist for the past few years and I am really looking forward to the event. Since my accident I have been determined to see the challenge through as I know the money raised is going to a great cause. I would like to thank everyone who has supported me and helped me to raise over £2,500.”
