Charity Car Wash at Lichfield Fire Station

05/03/2012

Firefighters from Lichfield will be joining thousands of other firefighters from across the country this Saturday to take part in a National Car Wash event.

“Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”

Angela Leigh, Staffordshire Treasurer for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity. People will be asked to make a donation as they exit.
