Project Manager Appointed to Deliver Shared Fire Control Project

A Project Manager has been appointed to help deliver a shared Fire Control Service for the West Midlands and Staffordshire.

Kathryn Eveleigh has been appointed to act as an external Project Manager working on behalf of both fire authorities. She will be responsible for delivering a shared system that will allow for information sharing and the mobilisation of fire engines to emergency incidents.

Kathryn Eveleigh has worked as a Project Manager responsible for delivering Command and Control Systems for over 17 years for organisations including the Automobile Association and ambulance services in the South and East of England.

Shared Fire Control Project Manager, Kathryn Eveleigh said: "I’m really looking forward to working on this project. Both authorities have some very ambitious ideas and are keen to ensure that this fire control service offers much more than just a mobilisation service. I’m confident that the new service we are working towards will be ground breaking and will revolutionise the role of Fire Control."
