Firefighters will be washing cars across the county

Staffordshire Firefighters will be joining thousands of other Firefighters from across the country in a National Car Wash event this weekend.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity! People will be asked to make a donation on exit.

Andy Buttery, Staffordshire Treasurer for The Fire Fighters Charity said: Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity, they will also be able to request their free home fire risk check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.

The car washes will be held at the following Fire Stations and will take place this Saturday, except from Barton under Needwood which will take place on Sunday:
