Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service - Preventing, Protecting, Responding

Information sessions for Residents

Residents are invited to information sessions at Stone, Longton and Penkridge to view plans for the new community fire stations.

Attendees to the sessions will have the opportunity to speak to the team co-ordinating the builds as well as station staff. The following sessions are being held:

Stone Fire Station – Tuesday 24 July from 6pm – 7pm
Longton Fire Station - Wednesday 25 July from 5.30pm – 6.30pm
Penkridge Fire Station – Thursday 26 July from 6pm – 7pm.

Project Manager, Norma Putman said: "The project is picking up pace now and we have recently announced the company responsible for progressing with the build of the stations.

"We’d welcome residents to attend the sessions so we can share our plans and provide them with information as to how the construction phases of the project will be managed and what facilities will be on offer to them once the new community fire stations open.

"We look forward to giving the residents of Staffordshire community fire stations they can be proud of."

Eleven community fire stations in Staffordshire are being rebuilt as part of a £50 million private finance initiative.
