Uttoxeter Firefighter, Simon Poole said: "Welephant will be there to entertain the children and parents with kids aged between four and eight can sign up to our free Welephant Club.

"We will also have a fire service information stand where people can pick up fire safety information and arrange a free Home Fire Risk Check.

"The event is free entry and everyone is welcome to come along, refreshments, a hog roast and ice creams will also be available at a small charge."

There is unfortunately no parking available on site; people attending the event are encouraged to walk to the station.
