"I very much appreciate the hard work and dedication put in by our local Fire and Rescue Service and I am grateful for them allowing me this opportunity."

Stafford Fire Station Watch Manager, Gary Fox said: "Mr Lefroy will be spending the day with us at Stafford Fire Station and will carry out any training and community work we’re doing that day with us as well as attending any emergency call outs as an observer.

"He visited the watch on Christmas Day last year which was when he expressed an interest in spending more time with us to get a better understanding of all the work we do.

"We don’t know what exactly what the day will hold as it all depends on the level of calls in the immediate area and around the rest of the county on the day however we’re sure Mr Lefroy will have a very varied and enjoyable day with us."
