Firefighters Scrub Up For Charity

10/09/2012

Firefighters from Lichfield will be joining thousands of other firefighters from across the country in a National Car Wash event on Saturday 15th September. The event will take place from 9.30am until 4pm at Lichfield Fire Station.

“Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”

Angie Leigh, Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity. People will be asked to make a donation as they exit.
