Six competition winners and runners up from the North Staffordshire Carer’s Association will receive certificates of achievement and receive a VIP day at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Family Day this weekend.
"We wanted to give the competition winners and runners up a special treat for their efforts and our Family Day will be the perfect opportunity to do that."

The North Staffordshire Carer’s Association have been using the community facilities at new fire stations in North Staffordshire over the last year and have since formed a partnership with the Service to encourage fire safety amongst their young carers.
The poster competition was to design a fire safety bonfire poster and two winners have been selected plus four runners up.
11 year old Dean Bradford and seven year old Daniel Sargeant were selected as the two competition winners and will receive their certificates live on stage, presented by Stafford FM on Saturday.
They will also have a first-look around fire control and take part in a live demonstration as casualties. The runners up will also receive their certificates on stage and tour fire control.
All six posters will be displayed on the Stafford FM stage for the day for people to look at.
Young Carers Support Worker, Marj Caviglia said: "We have been working in the partnership with the fire service and they kindly judged our bonfire safety competition, which was open to young carers aged between five and 12 years old.
"Keeping our young carers safe at all times is very important to us so the input from the fire service has helped to reinforce and highlight awareness of the dangers that fire can bring. We look forward to working on other projects with the fire service in the future."
