Charity Car Wash at Penkridge Fire Station

Firefighters from Penkridge will be holding a car wash event on Saturday 13 October. The event will take place from 9am until 4pm at Penkridge Fire Station.

“Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”

Angie Leigh, Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity and MASE, which is a voluntary organisation offering support to sufferers of Alzheimer’s and Dementia. Drivers will be asked to make a donation as they exit the car wash.

Angie Leigh, Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity said: “Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”
