Firefighters will be out and about all next week in Brereton offering free Home Fire Risk Checks as part of the council’s Love Your Street campaign.

"We will be offering free Home Fire Risk Checks and giving fire safety advice to the residents on the streets involved as part of the Love Your Street campaign."

Firefighters and fire service volunteer firefighters will also be working with other partners to help clean up the streets around town.

Love Your Street is a pilot campaign and will operate on a local level, with just five streets in Brereton taking part: Springhill Terrace, Kelly Avenue, Newman Grove, Ravenhill Terrace and Coulthwaite Way.

“If anyone would like to book a free Home Fire Risk Check but will be unavailable next week they can call 0800 0241 999 and book one at a mutually convenient time and date or book online via our website.
