New Area Commander for the Moorlands

Moorlands Area Command has welcomed new Area Commander Tim Hyde, to the team. As Area Commander Tim will have overall management responsibility for the fire and rescue service in the Moorlands.

Tim joined the Service in 1989 and has previously worked around the County at Stations and departments including Burton, Stafford, South Staffordshire and Training and Development. Tim’s most recent role was at Stafford Area Command where he worked as the Area Commander for eighteen months. 

Moorlands Area Commander, Tim Hyde said: “I am delighted at my new role up here in the Moorlands. This is a new challenge for me and I am very much looking forward to it.”

Tim will be replacing Alf Wilson who retired from the Service early in the Summer.
