We understand that being accountable and transparent is not only a legal responsibility but an opportunity to engage with our communities, staff and partners. Accurate, meaningful and timely information helps the community understand what it is we do and helps them to participate in shaping how we will deliver the right services in the future.
Our Statement of Accounts is published annually and presents the financial position and transactions of the Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority in a fair and transparent manner.
We also continue to publish supplier payments over £500 on a monthly basis and salaries over £50,000 on our website. We intend to release as much information as early as possible to remain as transparent to the communities we serve.
Our statement of accounts and other financial information is available to view.
We carry out extensive consultation and engagement with staff, partnership agencies and the local community. Last year we gave our communities the chance to have their say on our Community Safety Options (CSO) project. We took these into consideration when making decisions regarding this project. It is important to us that our communities are involved in the shaping of our service.
