Long Service and Good Conduct Awards

Fire and Rescue Service personnel from across the County were awarded for their long service and good conduct at a presentation ceremony last night.

The medals and certificates were presented at a awards evening held at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters. The medals were presented by The Vice Lord Lieutenant, Colonel Michael Beatty and the certificates were presented by The Chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Councillor Len Bloomer.

The Long Service Award were presented to members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years continuous service, and the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal were awarded to members of the Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years operational service and have demonstrated, during this period their good conduct, loyalty and devotion to duty.

The recipients from across the County who will be awarded with the medal and certificate are as follows:

Crew Manager Lee Chevin from Hanley Community Fire Station.
Firefighter Paul Griffin from Newcastle Community Fire Station.
Firefighter Mark Hammersley from the Northern Service Delivery Group.
Crew Manager Martin Joughin from Newcastle Community Fire Station
Firefighter Robert Moss from Newcastle Community Fire Station
Crew Manager Roger Prenter-Jones from Training and Development

Director of Organisational Development Rebecca Bryant from Service Headquarters will receive the Good Conduct Medal.

A former member of staff, Armarjit Bansal from Stafford Fire Station also received the certificate.
