Long Service and Good Conduct Awards

Fire and Rescue Service personnel from across the County will be awarded for their long service and good conduct at a presentation ceremony tomorrow evening.

The medals and certificates will be presented at an awards evening held at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters. The medals will be presented by The Lord Lieutenant, Mr Ian Dudson and the certificates will be presented by The Chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Councillor Len Bloomer.

The Long Service Award is presented to members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years continuous service, and the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to members of the Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years operational service and have demonstrated, during this period their good conduct, loyalty and devotion to duty.

The recipients from across the County who will be awarded with the medal and certificate are as follows:

Crew Manager Kevin McLintock from Leek Fire Station
Station Manager Carl Mason from Leek and Biddulph Fire Stations
Firefighter Yvonne Massey from Longton Fire Station
Firefighter Steven Miles from Cannock Community Fire Station
Watch Manager Ian Moss from Cannock Community Fire Station
Watch Manager Gary Philips from Uttoxeter and Barton under Needwood Fire Stations
Watch Manager John Spode from Cannock Community Fire Station
