Uttoxeter Firefighters Scrub Up For Charity

Firefighters from Uttoxeter will be taking part in a charity car wash event on Saturday 23rd March. The event will take place from 10am until 2pm at Uttoxeter Community Fire Station on Cheadle Road in Uttoxeter.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity. People will be asked to make a donation as they exit.

J.G.A Staffordshire Valeting in Uttoxeter has supplied the firefighters with wash wax to clean the vehicles on the day.

Angie Leigh, Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity said: "Not only can members of the public get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes."
