Hanley Firefighters Scrub Up for Charity
Firefighters from Hanley will be taking part in a charity car wash event on Saturday April 27.
Grass Fires Toll In North Of County
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended 146 grass fires in the northern area of the county over the Easter holidays from 29th March until 15th April 2013.
Grass Fires in West of County
During the Easter holidays from 29th March until 15th April 2013 Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended 18 grass fires in the western area of the county. The Service tends to see an increase in grass fires over the school holidays, which is often due to children and teenagers starting fires deliberately.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service attended 22 grass fires in the eastern area of the county over the Easter holidays from 29th March until 15th April 2013.
