StreetStadiaTM will keep the boredom at bay during the school holidays

26/07/2013

The portable sporting arena, StreetStadiaTM, will be entertaining youngsters in Tamworth this summer.

"StreetStadiaTM is a fantastic opportunity for young people to enjoy physical activities and make new friends."

Community Liaison Officer Katherine Staples

The inflatable arena allows young people to interact, socialise and enjoy team games in a safe environment.

The facility will be visiting Wiggington Park from 1pm-4pm on August 19.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, in partnership with the Safer Communities CIC, has provided the StreetStadiaTM for the young people of Tamworth to enjoy.

Children aged from 8 – 17 can take part in a variety of free games and activities including dodgeball, football and volleyball.

Community Liaison Officer Katherine Staples said: “StreetStadiaTM is a fantastic opportunity for young people to enjoy physical activities and make new friends. By occupying youngsters during the school holiday, we are also helping to reduce anti-social behaviour which often sees an increase during breaks.”
