Long Service and Good Conduct Awards

Fire and Rescue Service personnel from across the County will be awarded for their long service and good conduct at a presentation ceremony on Thursday evening. 

The medals and certificates will be presented at an awards evening held at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters. The medals will be presented by The Vice Lord Lieutenant, Colonel Michael Beatty and the certificates will be presented by The Chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Councillor Len Bloomer.

The Long Service Award is presented to members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years continuous service, and the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to members of the Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years operational service and have demonstrated, during this period their good conduct, loyalty and devotion to duty. 

The recipients from across the County who will be awarded with the medal and certificate are as follows:

Firefighter Andrew Alkins from Cheadle Fire Station.

Firefighter Simon Carter from Kidsgrove Community Fire Station.

Firefighter Anthony Durose from Cheadle Fire Station.

Firefighter Raymond Morris from Kidsgrove Community Fire Station.

Firefighter David Oakes from Biddulph Fire Station.

The following recipients will be awarded with the medal.

Watch Manager Andrew Maiden from Tamworth Community Fire Station.
