Stafford Firefighters Scrub Up For Charity

03/03/2014

Firefighters from Stafford will be holding a charity car wash event this Saturday, March 8. The event will take place from 10am until 2pm at Stafford Fire Station.

“Not only can drivers get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”

Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity Angie Leigh.

Motorists are invited to take their car along and have it washed in return for a donation to The Fire Fighters Charity, which supports serving and retired fire service personnel and their families.

As well as firefighters, fire and rescue service volunteers and cadets will also be rolling up their sleeves for the event.
