Long Service and Good Conduct Award Evening

Fire and rescue service personnel from across the county have been awarded for their long service and good conduct at a presentation ceremony this week.

The medals and certificates were presented at an awards evening held at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Headquarters. The medals will be presented by Lord Lieutenant, Mr Ian Dudson CBE and the certificates will be presented by The Chairman of the Fire and Rescue Authority, Councillor Len Bloomer.

The Long Service Award is presented to members of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years continuous service, and the Fire Service Long Service and Good Conduct Medal is awarded to members of the Fire and Rescue Service who have completed 20 years operational service and have demonstrated, during this period their good conduct, loyalty and devotion to duty.

The recipients from across the county who will be awarded with the medal and certificate are as follows:

Station Manager Paul Cullen from Burton Fire Station
Watch Manager Paul Danby from Brewood Fire Station
Crew Manager Amelia Hall from Fire Control
Station Manager Tim Hollingworth from the Emergency Response Team, Headquarters.
Firefighter Kevin Mottram from Uttoxeter Community Fire Station
Crew Manager Chris Neale from Burton Fire Station
Watch Manager Jason Richards from Newcastle Community Fire Station
Firefighter Dean Simms from Longton Fire Station
Crew Manager Rob Ward from Sandyford Community Fire Station

Tracey Merrington from Service Headquarters will receive the certificate and Firefighter Sam King from Hanley Community Fire Station will receive the medal.
