The table below details all expense claims submitted by our Chief Fire Officer in the years specified. Accommodation and Travel arrangements are purchased using our central purchasing system or corporate visa cards and would not be apportioned to an individual employee. To confirm if this information is held would require an extensive search in a number of locations and therefore the cost of compliance for this part of your request would be in excess of the £450 (18hrs) cost limit under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000

3. Details of any car scheme enjoyed by your chief fire officer i.e. fleet car, subsidised payment towards personal car etc. If they are provided with a company car please specify the make and model, as well as the estimated value.

The Chief Fire Officer is provided with an official vehicle which is fitted with blue lights and sirens on the basis of continuous duty unless outside of the Country. In respect of payments, all staff are required to comply with current HMRC rules and guidance relating to personal and business car use.  As this vehicle is not used exclusively for work purposes we consider this to be part of ‘private family life’ and therefore this information is exempt from disclosure under Section 40(2) of the Freedom of Information Act as it constitutes personal data. We consider that this would be a breach of schedule 1 of the Data Protection Act 1998.

4. Details of any private healthcare scheme enjoyed by your chief fire officer, including its annual value and whether it covers their family as well. We do not have a private healthcare scheme

5. Details of the salary received by your chief fire officer in each of 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14. If this information has been published previously, please provide me with the link to the exact location on your website where it can be found – not just the general home page.
