Firefighters tackle Post Office blaze

More than 25 firefighters tackled a blaze at a post office in Branston which broke out in the early hours of this morning.

Crews from Burton, Uttoxeter, Tutbury and Barton-under-Needwood were called to the incident along with the Targeted Response Vehicle from Burton.

They arrived at the two storey business on Main Street at 2.33am and used hose reel jets to put out the fire. The last crew returned to the station at 4.38am.

No one was hurt during the incident and the cause is currently under investigation.
