Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Family Festival of Carols is set to take place at Lichfield Cathedral on Sunday, December 7.

"The Family Festival of Carols is an event that is enjoyed tremendously by everyone who attends. There is a real sense of celebration and the festive atmosphere is felt by people of all ages. I would encourage people not to miss out on what promises to be a wonderful evening."

Chief Fire Officer Peter Dartford

The Service is once again presenting the Christmas-time treat at 6pm. Local children will act out the nativity play and the Lichfield Chamber Choir will perform. The Very Reverend Adrian Dorber will preside over the service and there will be mince pies and alcohol-free mulled wine afterwards.

Chief Fire Officer Peter Dartford said: “The Family Festival of Carols is an event that is enjoyed tremendously by everyone who attends. There is a real sense of celebration and the festive atmosphere is felt by people of all ages. I would encourage people not to miss out on what promises to be a wonderful evening.”

The event is open to everyone and those who would like to attend are asked to book by emailing Nicky Westwood at n.westwood@staffordshirefire.gov.uk or calling 01785 898979 as soon as possible.
