Firefighters from Hanley will be holding a charity car wash event this Saturday, March 14.

"Not only can drivers get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes."

Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity Angie Leigh

The event will take place from 10am until 2pm at Hanley Community Fire Station on Lower Bethesda Street.

Motorists are invited to take their car along and have it washed in return for a donation to The Fire Fighters Charity.

Service Co-ordinator for The Fire Fighters Charity Angie Leigh said: “Not only can drivers get their car washed and do their bit for charity; they will also be able to request their free Home Fire Risk Check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes.”
