Response

Please find below the figures for people being freed from handcuffs by Staffordshire fire & Rescue Service since 2009.  Please note that a large number of these incidents were the releases from handcuffs on persons under police custody and not purely for release from handcuffs for personal reasons. Furthermore we are unable to confirm the figure for 2013 as there is an issue with the report for the first 10 months of 2013 (up until October 1st) we are unable to run the query against that data so please note that the 1 incident in 2013 took place between October and the end of December.
