I wish to request the following information relating to Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 for the last financial year 2013/14.

  1. The cost of each fire station in terms of salaries, pension contributions etc. broken down into the two duty systems (Wholetime and Retained).
  2. The number/type of front-line appliances at each Fire Station in Staffordshire
  3. The number of personnel at each station broken down into duty systems (Wholetime and Retained)
  4. The number and type of calls received at each station. Where there is more than one duty system (Wholetime or Retained) in operation on a station, please can these figures be broken down into each duty system.

  • RT = Rescue Tender appliance (Heavy Rescue Equipment)
  • IRU = Incident Response Unit ( for decontamination)
  • DIM – Detection, Identification and Monitoring (of unknown substances)
