12/11/2015

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service’s Family Festival of Carols is set to take place at Lichfield Cathedral on Sunday, December 6.

"The Family Festival of Carols is a real highlight of the Christmas period and is enjoyed enormously be everyone who attends. It is a lovely occasion with a really festive atmosphere, which is felt by people of all ages. I would encourage anyone who wants to attend to book their place now so that they don’t miss out on a wonderful evening."

Chief Fire Officer Peter Dartford

The Service is once again presenting the Christmas-time treat at 6pm. Local children will act out the nativity play and the Lichfield Cathedral Chamber Choir will perform. Vice-Dean and Canon Dr Anthony Moore will preside over the service and there will be mince pies and tea and coffee afterwards.
