Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is inviting members of the public to get into the spirit of Christmas at their annual Family Festival of Carols.

“Once again this joyous event marks the start of the Christmas season for the fire and rescue service. It is set to be a magical evening and we welcome people of all ages from anywhere in the county to come sing along.”

The Service once again presents this Christmas-time treat, which will be held at Stoke Minster in Glebe Street on December 20 at 6.30pm. There will be a choir performing and Canon Andrew Wickens will be presiding over the service followed by mince pies and refreshments afterwards.

Marketing and Communications Manager Jude Russell, who organised the event, said: “The Family Festival of Carols will be held in Stoke Minster this year after its success at Lichfield Cathedral in previous years.
