Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service - Preventing, Protecting, Responding

Memorial Garden

The purpose of the garden is to provide a lasting and evolving memorial garden for the remembrance of past employees of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service. The garden is located at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters, Pirehill, Stone.

In 2002 Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service opened its treasured Memorial Garden, in association with the Queens Golden Jubilee.

A team of volunteers created the Memorial Garden, to recognise and remember our departed colleagues who have served for any time and within any capacity at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service.

The Memorial Garden is located at Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service Headquarters in Stone. The site for the garden was chosen for its peaceful tranquillity, and its central location in Staffordshire.

Our aim is:

  • To provide and maintain the memorial garden for the benefit, comfort and solace of bereaved families and friends, which allows thought and reflection at any time.

  • To raise sufficient funds to enable the memorial garden to be maintained and developed and to secure the long term future.

Facilities Available:

  • Scattering of Ashes

  • Memorial Service

  • Entry in Book of Remembrance

  • Memorial Marker (cost for provision of marker)
