Staffordshire Fire & Rescue Service - Preventing, Protecting, Responding

National Car Wash for The Fire Fighters Charity

Firefighters from around the County will be joining thousands of other firefighters from across the country in a National Car Wash event this Saturday.

Firefighters will be using their hoses to wash cars in a bid to raise as much money as they can for The Fire Fighters Charity! Drivers are asked to make a donation on exit.

"We’d urge people to come along with their cars and do their bit for charity. The Fire Fighters Charity is one close to the hearts of many here at the fire service because of the support it offers past and present fire service personnel and their families during their time of need.

"Drivers attending the event will also be able to request their free home fire risk check, to ensure they are as safe from fire as possible in their homes."

Andy Buttery, Staffordshire Treasurer for The Fire Fighters Charity
