Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority has issued its Draft Statement of Accounts for the year ending 31 March 2014.

Annual Governance Report
Our external auditors are the Audit Commission. As part of their code of practice, each year they issue Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Authority an Audit Letter. This summarises the findings of their audit of our financial statements, and their assessment of our performance management.

Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service is the first Fire Authority to publish items of spend over £500 as part of the new transparency arrangements for local government, in response to the recent paper issued by Eric Pickles MP. As of April 2016, supplier payments will include spends over £250.
