Crews at scene of factory fire

We’re currently dealing with a fire at a factory in Stoke-on-Trent this morning (Tuesday 19 November).

Crews were sent to Sutherland Road in Longton shortly after 10am following reports of a fire inside the building.

Hose reel jets and breathing apparatus have been used to safely extinguish the fire by 10.30am.

Everyone is currently accounted for and no-one has been reported injured.

The gas supply to the building has also been isolated as a precaution.

Firefighters are expected to stay in the area while the cause is determined.
