Crews fight fire in derelict house

Crews have tackled a fire at a derelict property in Stoke-on-Trent.

We received a call at around 1pm today (Friday 21 February) and went to the scene, on Theodore Road, Bucknall, where we found the first floor and loft space of a semi-detached house alight.

Three appliances and our aerial ladder platform (ALP) attended the scene and worked to extinguish the flames.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and our colleagues at Staffordshire Police have been informed.
