Crews tackle fire at disused pavilion

We have extinguished a fire at a former bowling pavilion in Stoke-on-Trent.

Crews went to Fenton Park, on Victoria Road, Fenton, yesterday (Thursday 20 February), following reports of a fire at the location, shortly before 8.30pm.

Four hose reel jets and our aerial ladder platform (ALP) were used to extinguish the flames.

No-one has been reported injured.

The cause of the fire is believed to be deliberate and the incident has been left with our colleagues at Staffordshire Police.
