Fire crews extinguish fire at derelict nightclub

We have extinguished the fire at a derelict nightclub in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.

Fire investigators are working with Staffordshire Police to investigate the cause of the fire.

Multiple crews have been working to extinguish the fire at Brockley Square after the alarm was raised at 5.45am on Tuesday (12 March).

We are continuing to take extra precautions around the area to make sure we can keep people safe. We know this has caused lots of disruption and we’d like to thank people for their patience and understanding.
