Fire crews rescue foal stuck in ditch

We have successfully rescued a foal from a ditch in the Moorlands.

Crews got a call just before 6am this morning (Wednesday 19 June) to The Village, Endon, and found a one-month-old foal trapped in a ditch.

The foal was brought to safety by crews and was treated at the scene by a local vet.

Crews left the scene just before 6.45am.
