Fire investigation expected to take place at Farmfoods today

Fire investigators are expected to carry out an inspection into the cause of the fire at Farmfoods in Stoke-on-Trent.

We got a call shortly after 1.45pm yesterday (Thursday 23 May) after smoke and flames were seen coming from the shop on Moorland Road, Burslem.

We’ve been there dealing with the fire alongside colleagues from Staffordshire Police since it was first reported.

Crews made lots of progress yesterday and have been dampening down hotspots left over.

A full inspection into the cause of the fire is expected to take place today (24 May).
