Firefighters discover cannabis grow at deliberate flat fire

We have found a cannabis grow at a flat fire that was started deliberately in Stoke-on-Trent.
Crews from Hanley, Longton and Newcastle were sent to a flat on Leek Road just after 10pm yesterday (Tuesday 10 October) following reports of a fire.
The fire was extinguished just after 11.15pm using hose reel jets and was later deemed to be caused deliberately.
Crews found a cannabis grow inside and notified colleagues from Staffordshire Police to investigate.
