Firefighters extinguish lorry trailers fire

A large fire involving lorry trailers has been extinguished in Biddulph.

We sent crews to an address on Wharf Road just before 8pm on Monday (6 May) when the call came in.

Four lorry trailers were found well-alight and were put out just before 2am yesterday morning (7 May).

Thankfully, no-one was injured.

Following an investigation, we later deemed the fire to have been caused deliberately.

This has now been handed over to Staffordshire Police.
