Statement following proclamation of His Majesty King Charles III

Chief Fire Officer Rob Barber has pledged his allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III following the new Sovereign’s proclamation this morning.

CFO Rob Barber said: “On behalf of Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service, I pledge allegiance to His Majesty King Charles III and I wish him well in his new role as our nation’s Sovereign. I also extend my deepest sympathies to our new King on the passing of his mother Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

“God save the King.”
